U.S. Visa Information - Website Service

This service will allow you to obtain nonimmigrant visa information and schedule your nonimmigrant visa appointment quickly and easily through this website.

In order to get information and schedule an appointment you must first pay a Visa Information Service Fee of A$14.00 and obtain a PIN (Personal Identification Number).  Purchases can be made online using either a Visa or Mastercard, credit or debit card.  The Visa Information Service PIN is nonrefundable and in the event it is lost or stolen the applicant will have to obtain a new one.  

You may schedule an appointment for yourself and up to four immediate relatives.  You must all live at the same address.  The following are considered to be immediate relatives:  husband, wife, mother, father, child, brother or sister.  If there are more than five members applying for a visa, please create another user account to obtain information and schedule appointments for the rest of your family members.

Your PIN will allow you to access the website multiple times.  You can continue to access the website until one business day before your scheduled appointment.  If the appointment is rescheduled, the PIN expires one business day before the new appointment.  If no appointment is scheduled, or the appointment is cancelled, the PIN will expire 90 days from the date of purchase.

If it is impossible to attend the interview on the date you scheduled you can cancel and/or reschedule your appointment. This PIN will give you three scheduling opportunities so that you can schedule an appointment and reschedule it up to two additional times if you need to.  Please note, that you may not change or cancel your appointment within one business day of the appointment date.  Another person cannot attend your appointment. The appointment is applicant-specific and non-transferable. Only the person(s) scheduled will be allowed to enter the Consulate.
